About us and our family run business
Hello, we are happy you are here, and we thought you would like to know a little more about us, who we are, what we do, and how Property Photographers UK started.
Our names are Rebecca and Jordan and we are a happy positive couple who work in the business together as a team.
We first met (dare I say) on a dating site in 2016 and lived in the East Midlands previously before moving to Brighton in 2018.
We currently live in Peacehaven, East Sussex along with our beautiful 3-year-old twins, Poppy and Charlie who keep us on our feet and entertained.
We are both professional photographers and videographers and have been in the photographic and filming industry for over 15 years and have worked with a variety of subjects, such as:
Weddings, Products, Commercial fashion, Portraiture, Events, Music, Family portraits and even animals.
Property Photographers UK is our main business, and we also run another business called Smug Productions which is solely focused on film production for weddings, events, charities, local communities, etc. Including website design services for local and small businesses within Smug Productions plus more.
We are very ambitious, devoted people and dedicated to providing the best work we can, and always strive to improve in every aspect.
From working in the industry for so long we have met some wonderful people across the UK and have made close friendships along the way. Which is why customer service is so important to us. We believe in being your naturally friendly and bubbly self and spending time with people to get to know them to build trust and rapport.
This is why we love doing the job we do at Property Photographers UK, not just because we are passionate about our work but because of the incredible people we are able to meet, it really is the little things from as simple as a chat over a cuppa or consoling those who may be in an unfortunate position to move house. It's all about respect and compassion, which is what we strongly promote in our business, going above and beyond.
OUR JOURNEY AND HOW WE BECAME PROPERTY PHOTOGRAPHERS UK
Our journey and how we became
Property Photographers UK:
Rebecca initially started working for a Photography agency that photographed solely for properties in 2018, under a different business name, "Holden Studios".
Holden Studios had been Rebecca's business since the age of 17, where she focussed on photographing Weddings, Portraits, Commercial Fashion, Clothing Brands, Portraiture, Family Portraits, Animals, and more. Including selling her paintings and Art commissions on the side.
She has worked with some reputable brands such as London Fashion Weekend, ASOS, Rokoko Clothing, Whyevale Garden Centre, Voodoo Vixen, and many more.
It wasn't until Rebecca began the agency that she fell in love with properties and decided to focus on this more as it got busier every month.
We then discovered Rebecca was pregnant in 2019 and gave birth to our twins in June 2020.
However after only 5 months of having twins, sadly, Rebecca's Dad, Simon, tragically passed away in November 2020. Which completely turned our lives upside down, especially for Rebecca as he was her role model and is one of the reasons she became a Photographer, Artist, and Editor.
Rebecca had already gained experience in the editing world as Simon ran a graphic design, sign, and printing business. Through learning from Simon and his business, growing up, Rebecca has been working with editing software since she was 13, using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator, and developed a keen eye for the artistic world.
Unfortunately due to the sudden passing of Simon and with the pandemic happening at the time, we had to step down from Photography for a year to recover and look after our new born twins.
Whilst Rebecca stayed at home to look after our children, Jordan stepped in and became the main Photographer for the property photography agency in 2021.
Jordan had Photography and filming experience since a young age, he began filming Weddings, events, and music companies after Graduating from DeMontfort University in Leicester with a BA Honours degree in film. He has photographed and filmed for numerous brands and businesses for the past 15 years.
Not so long after Jordan began photographing properties, we began to receive a high volume of private work and decided to turn this into a business solely for Properties, which is when we opened Property Photographers UK.
Since then, we have partnered with Airbnb in 2022 and photographed properties across the UK for Airbnb directly and also private BNB owners.
We have worked with over 50 estate agents across the UK, including:
Leaders, Purple Bricks, Fine and Country, Strike, Countrywide, William H Brown, Fox & Sons, Freeman Forman, Phillip Mann, Connells, Frank Innes, Your Move, YOPA, Newton Fallowell, and many more, including family-run estate agents.
Today, we continue to work as a team in the Property Photography industry and strive to provide the best photography and film services in Sussex and always aim for exceptional customer service.
